  in the loco cong. everyone is wearing a JW.org small round pin on there clothing since this months campaign started.

  I was shocked. Said it looked tacky and like salesmen.

  Has anyone seen this?

  From what a gather a loco sister made them up for her cong.

  as i was writing a comment in another thread, my auto correct on my tablet changed 'witnesses' to 'twit nesses'.

  i lost it laughing!.

  even my tablet knows the truth about the truth!.

  we are going to edinburgh today to see what's going at the festival, go out for a meal and probably see a show.. i have made up some cards with the jwfacts.com logo to hand to jws on the trolleys.

  there is nothing on the cards part from the logo.

  It's certainly not main stream.

  Some do take it to a cult level.

  I'm curouse and I imagine I would learn to be more comfortable around strangers and in my own skin.

  besides having to sit through endless boring meetings during the evenings when they should be in bed getting their necessary rest for school the next day, they are falling asleep in the chairs with their little heads falling over.

  then all their fun is taken away by such a strict religion and a desert god which makes them grow up with no self esteem whatsoever.

  they tell them they're all sinners from the womb up and only a rod will remove it.

  and to add to nuggets comments about the adult topics.

  My family wouldnt let me take sex ed in school.

  I thought I was dying when I started my period in 6th grade.

  Ironic; I learned more at the hall about sex, ( espically all the naughty/fun stuff and at a to early age. But no prctical information at the right time.

  Jehovah's Witnesses took over my hotel in June (Please read).

  there was a convention in milwaukee from june 20th-22nd.

  the witnesses literally took over our hotel!

  they were more demanding than i remember when i was a kid.

  Testimony card returns

  old timers, or careful readers of the proclaimers book, are familiar with the "testimony card" used in the early days of rutherford-era door to door witnessing.

  the jw would traipse up to a house, knock, hand the card over to the householder, and wait while he read it.. well, it seems that "everything old is new again".
